Empowering Youth for Positive Change
AYAPED, Alliance of Youth Advocates for Peace, Gender Equality, Drug Abuse Prevention, Sustainable Development, and National Unity, analyzes socio-structural and institutional contexts to empower youth, based in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Ambassador Cherinor Moseray
As a Youth Ambassador deeply committed to the welfare of my fellow Sierra Leoneans, I have embarked on a vital campaign against drug abuse, with a particular focus on combating the consumption of Kush.
During my recent visit to the Susan Bay community, where I engaged with drug victims, I passionately urged individuals to refrain from indulging in harmful substances. I emphasized the profound impact of drug abuse on our youth, stressing that we are the architects of Sierra Leone's future.
Reflecting on my own upbringing, marked by challenges and the absence of parental guidance, I shared a personal narrative to underscore the importance of resilience and determination.
Encouraging my peers to embrace their roles as active contributors to national development, I emphasized the significance of decency and integrity in shaping a prosperous future for our nation.
In a gesture of solidarity, I sat down to share a meal with drug victims, symbolizing our collective journey toward rehabilitation and empowerment. With over 15 years of experience in development work.
I remain steadfast in my commitment to advocating for positive change and social cohesion in Sierra Leone. Together, we can overcome the scourge of drug abuse and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
